Low Back Pain and Neck Pain
Pain in your neck or back is often caused by misalignment of a vertebrae. A small misalignment can cause big pain by inflaming local muscles and pinching nerves. Left untreated, these can lead to long term degenerative changes in the discs and joints of the spine.

Chiropractic seeks to realign and restore movement to these problem areas. Manipulation of the spinal joints is gentle, safe and painless.

Headaches and Migraines
The most common cause of recurring headaches is misalignment of the vertebrae in your neck. Around 80% of all headaches originate from the neck joints and muscles.
With a typical cervicogenic (neck origin) headache, a person usually feels pain starting at the base of the skull which can radiate into the temples and even lead to typical migraines symptoms.
Chiropractic manipulation can realign the vertebrae in your neck and is often the most successful treatment for headaches and migraines.

Pinched Nerves and Sciatica
When a nerve is compressed and irritated, it causes referred pain, tingling, numbness and even loss of muscular control. This is most frequently caused by spinal misalignment or a bulging or degenerated disc. The most commonly pinched nerves are those in the lower neck (affecting the shoulder, arm and hand) and those in the low back (affecting the hip, leg and foot).

Sciatica is the most commonly pinched nerve and causes pain from the low back, through the buttock to the leg and foot. A bulging disc can usually be helped with Chiropractic treatment although sometimes surgery is the only answer.

Joint and Disc Degeneration
Degeneration (arthritis) occurs when joint and disc cartilage starts to wear down, The joint becomes stiff and painful. It can be caused by misalignment, injury, poor posture, overuse/underuse, muscle imbalance, etc.
Like arthritis, joint dysfunction can cause local pain in the joint as well as referred pain. It is common for degeneration in one area to cause overcompensation and subsequent degeneration in other weight bearing joints.

Regular Chiropractic adjustments, together with stretching, are the best way to keep degenerative joints healthy and slow the process of further degeneration.
