Shoulder Problems

Common Causes of Shoulder Pain
1. Misalignment In the Lower Neck Vertebrae
Referred pain from the neck is a very common cause of misdiagnosed shoulder pain. Misalignment or stiffness in the muscles between the neck and shoulder blade can cause inflammation to build up in the shoulder joint and rotator cuff muscles. Over time, this can lead to a frozen shoulder.

2. Rotator cuff muscle tear
The muscles of the shoulder do an extraordinary amount of work. Almost all of us will suffer a shoulder tear at some point in our lives. Accurate diagnosis and rehabilitation is key to preventing calcification and long term problems.

3. Impingement Syndrome
Shoulder impingement syndrome, also known as rotator cuff tendonitis, occurs when the tendons in the rotator cuff, which are responsible for moving and stabilizing the shoulder, become pinched or compressed as they pass through the subacromial space. This can cause pain, weakness, and limited range of motion in the shoulder.
