Foot and Ankle Problems

Common Causes of Foot and Ankle Pain
1. Misalignment In the Lower Back or Pelvis
Referred pain is a very common cause of undiagnosed foot and ankle pain. Misalignment or dysfunction in the knees, hips, low back or pelvis can cause poor body weight loading. The poor feet and ankles suffer the fallout from all imbalances above. A thorough evaluation is often needed to see where the underlying problems stem from.

3. Falling arches, spurs, bunions and osteophytes
Poor fitting shoes, weakness in structures of the feet, old injury - can all contribute to falling arches or other types of weight bearing pain. Over time, the bones respond by laying down extra calcium which can lead to chronic pain.
